- Use caution with: acute pancreatitis (avoid), pineapple/papaya allergy (if bromelain/papain included).
- acarbose (alpha-glucosidase inhibitors): Amylase in complex may counteract drug's mechanism; avoid combining.
- anticoagulants: Some enzymes (bromelain) may have mild antiplatelet effects.
